Rick flinches as the heel hits in the stomach and steps back a bit. "Elle..." His eyes widen. He had forgot about the Opera completely. "I am so very sorry" He said putting his hands up, he had sadness in his eyes. "I was...." He said confirming that he had been sleeping. He lowered his head in shame. How could he have forgotten about the Opera, and her father was possibly going to hunt him down now.

"....I hate you." She said and closed her eyes, her head falling to her hands. "I hate you, you made me look like a fool. What man would go to an opera with a 15 year old girl? One who has to wear gloves just to look normal. I'm defective and you know it. And all I wanted... All I WANTED was to... to be normal with you, and you forgot. YOu forgot about the opera... and you forgot about ME."

Rick flinched when she said this to him. "I hate you" The second time was just as worse as the first. "Elle, no honey" He said taking her into his arms. He smoothed out her hair. He felt horrible, she was soaked. "Elle dear, no you are normal to me you're not defective." He said kissing her forehead.

"I'm so normal... you forgot me..." She said and glared at the man. "I'm not special, I'm not your pet, I'm just some wolf you saved and forgot.... Call my father, I don't want to walk home." She said and pushed herself out of Ricks arms and went to the bathroom to clean up.

Rick looked at her blankly "Elle..." He defiantly did not forgot her, he was so tired though he had just passed out on his bed when he came home to change for the Opera. He just didn't know how to tell her that. He watched her go to the bathroom, sighing he picked up the phone to call Rayzr.

*Phone Call*

*ringing*

"Rayzr?" Rick said through the phone.

"Hello?"

He looked at the caller ID. "What is wrong>? What happened to Elle, Rick?"

He checked the time. "The opera shouldn't even be over yet." By this point the male was sliding his shoes on and grabbing his keys.

"Yes I know..." He gulped before continuing

"I kinda passed out when I came home to change for it, and Elle is pissed and wants you to come get her." He said sighing he heard keys and knew Ray already was coming.

"I'm really sorry Rayzr, I didn't mean for this to happen." He said apologetic

"You hurt her, you'll pay for this. Not today, but soon. She is my daughter but she looks up to you..."

He climbed into his car. "Tell her I'll be outside in a few minutes." He hung up, not wanting to hear the wolves voice. The fight between Rick and he was like a constant custody battle.

Rick nodded even though Rayzr couldn't see him.

"I'll see to that she is ready" He said before he heard the click of the phone

"Elle, Your dad will be here in a few minutes" He said knowing she could hear him. He transformed to his wolf form and started pacing the room.

Rayzr pulled into the drive and honked his horn. He waited until his adoptive daughter would show her face. If he saw Rick he was pretty sure he'd tear him to shreds.

Elle heard Rick and looked in the mirror. She had stripped out of her dress and was now in shorts and a cami. She stepped out of the bathroom, picked up her thrown heels and looked at Rick. She drug her eyes away, not saying anything as she ran out the door and into her fathers car. "Please... Just drive home?"

Rick noticed Elle leave and fell on the floor sighing. His usually wagging tail limp on the floor. He couldn't believe he allowed this to happen, he just couldn't believe it at all.
