"Don't worry yourself, Dyten. I've got it." She said and winked. She touched his cheek and frowned. "You've got some problems. You're so...grumpy, day or night. Rick will take me to school, I'm sure he's looking for me now." She kissed his cheek and closed his eyes. "Go to sleep, Dyten." She padded out of the room, grabbed her heels and knocked on Ricks door cautiously, still mad at him. "Rick... I need a ride to school..."

"I'm grumpy," he said after she left the room. "Because no one will let me sleep properly!" he grouched, burying himself in his thick blankets and hoping that the little ones would shut up already.

"SHUT YOUR FUCKING HOWLING UP BEFORE I RIP YOUR VOCAL CORDS OUT WITH MY OWN DAMN FUCKING TEETH!" he screamed, his voice echoing around the manor and the grounds.

All went silent despite the little cricket that decided to be annoying.

Dyten looked up at the cricket on his window sill.

"You're pushing it too," he growled, it took one look at him and hopped away with a huffy look on it's crickety face.

Rick woke hearing a couple knocks on his door. He was still very tired, and couldn't tell the voice of who was there, barely understood what they were saying as well. "Who .. wants.. wh.. what now?" He said in between yawns. He stretched standing up out of bed wearing only tan shorts, walking over to the door opening it up. He had his eyes half open and couldn't see much. "What is it?" He mumbled scratching his stomach yawning again.

Elle blinked up at the male and sighed. "I need a ride to school. I'm late. I could always call my dad." She said and turned, knowing he'd drive her. He was in enough trouble as it was and all she wanted to do was hurt him. Punch him, and throw her high heels at him. Again.

He made her cry. Nothing good ever came of that.

Rick came to alert when he realized it was Elle speaking to him. "Oh hold on I got it let me throw a shirt on and my shoes. Grab my keys please? They are on the kitchen counter I'll meet you at the car hun" He said walking to his closet grabbing a muscle shirt rather then a t-shirt. He pulled it on and searched for his shoes and socks.

Elle wandered off quietly and grabbed the keys and went to the car. She sat in silence and turned the car on as she waited for Rick. She didn't know what to do. She loved him so much, she idolized him, now all she could think was that she didn't matter and was entirely insignificant.

In some twisted part of her mind she thought she his life, what he lived for, for him to say 'I love you' and mean it when directed at her. Now it meant nothing at all.

Rick found his socks and shoes and slid them on hurrying out to the car. He got in the driver's side and looked at Elle for the keys. "You still mad at me?" He asked looking at her with sad eyes. He was really sorry that he had hurt her, if he was given a second chance he would have been at the opera early. He continued to look at her waiting to hear the answer that he already knew. She probably hated his guts right now.

Elle nodded and stayed silent, looking down at her outfit. "I am because you left me out there alone and all you can say is sorry." She looked out the window. "I thought I was beautiful and special and worth your time but... I'm not! Clearly! So just get me to school and.... I wont grace your doorstep again."

Rick turned his body in his seat to face her and leaned over the arm rest. "That's because I am sorry Elle, very sorry. What is it you want me to say to make it up to you? I'll do anything" His eyes were almost pleading with her. "You are beautiful, special, and will always be worth my time." He said staring at her.

Her body shook with rage and pain and she wiped her tears away with the sleeves of Dyten's hoodie. "I dunno..." She whispered and turned to him. She wrapped her arms around his neck and crawled onto his lap and hugged him. "Do I have to go to school? Can't we just skip it and we can just go play? I don't want to be mad at you... But..." She pushed her face to his neck and held onto him tightly. "I love you Rick..."

Rick smiled as she crawled into his laps hugging him. He gladly hugged her back but down inside he felt like the feelings he had for her were way different then the ones she had for him. Boy was he right when she said,

"I love you Rick..."

Rick nodded and held her tighter while a voice inside his mind was saying to let go and tell her the truth that she was way to young for him. "Yes play... let's go play." He said opening the car door for her to get out. He needed to be a wolf now and run and think. He knew some how that her loving him was partly his own fault.

Elle smiled but beneath the smile was a knowledge. She knew their age difference made her love seem like a puppy crush. And his 'love' for her was simply fatherly or big-brother-like. However, nothing he did could make her change her mind. She needed him, loved him, and wanted her leader around.

Elle followed him out of the car, leaving her back pack inside. To point out the fact, he was NOT a good parent for letting her skip school, and she knew it. But once again, she didn't CARE about the parent side, she loved the male and wanted to spend time with him.

She pulled him back to the yard and transformed, once changed she frowned at the hoodie that hung off a paw and she stepped out of it. "Come on." She said, yipping happily.

Rick smiled. He knew he was wrong for not making Elle go to school and he would most likely hear an ear full from Rayzr later on about it but at the moment he really didn't care. Rick stretched as he got out of the car then yanked his shirt off mainly because it was one of his favorite ones. Yawning, he quickly transformed into his beautiful jet black wolf figure.

He nodded at Elle as she told him to "come on" and nudged her side gently before running ahead of her.

The tiny werewolf went flying after the male. She looked like a giant
POOF of fur, following after the male. Her paw being so torn up made her
run with a skip to her step. She pounced on the man midsprint and fell
back. "Ooof!" She laughed and rolled in the leaves.
