Dyten watched the pair communicate, he remained quiet as he stood in front of Rick. "Dude, got a pair of shorts or something? Feeling a little exposed after being in my wolf form for the past month..." he said, chuckling quietly. He knew Rick and him were okay, they had the occasional phone call on updates or the randomly sent text messages through allies.

"And I'll apologise now while no one else is around, I didn't mean to treat the young one like that. I haven't had to deal with youngsters unless they were rogues that needed to be put down, my patience isn't what it use to be. I've been in wolf for longer than the recommendation, so the personality has altered a little bit. Reckon we could go some where where there is no little ones listening in or other wolves?" he asked, walking closer to the alpha now with his hands still covering his pride.

Rick turned and smiled at Dyten. "Sure thing, it's in my room in the Manor." he said motioning. Dyten to follow him to the manor. "We can talk over everything in there as well, I'll order everyone to stay away from the room." He said nodding to Dyten. It must be something of extreme importance if he was asking for some place private to talk in. "And don't worry about Elle, She'll be fine." he said nodding as he walked on to the manor leading the way to his room.

A smile covered his lips as Rick rewelcomed him basically back to the pack, he climbed the stairs while still covering his pride and into the manor. He made his way towards the bedroom, opening the door and waiting for Rick to go through first, his pride forgotten.

"I have some news that'll get you either shaking with anger or excitement.."

Rick looked at the wolves in his room after Dyten opened the door for him. "Everyone, Leave me and Dyten alone and tell the others to stay away from my room." He said. He watched as several wolves and some of the wolves who were in the human form left the room. Rick walked over to his closet and grabbed some shorts handing them to Dyten. "These should fit you." He looked at Dyten raising an eyebrow. "What is it?"

Dyten walked into the room after Rick and closed the door after the wolves had exited, he pulled on the denim shorts and immediately felt more comfortable. After stretching and flexing his muscles, he leaned against the back of the couch in the room while standing side on to Rick.

"The Vampires are making an army, I had multiple run ins with their leader Annalise. We fought and parted ways in search of backup, if it weren't for our incredible healing powers or the fact we're technically immortal... we'd be seriously dead. She didn't see me as a threat to her cult because I had no pack, I was a loner basically. She thought I was holding grudges... man that was annoying. I took down two of her body guards before I got to her on one occasion, she absolutely ripped me to shreds.." he sighed, running a hand through his hair and looked at the scars that would never go away, the nail marks and bite marks on his torso were still an angry pink.

Rick stared at Dyten with a blank stare across his face. "You... Took on.. the vampire leader?" He said his mouth agape slightly. He quickly closed it pinching the bridge of his nose. "You were inches from your death and these marks prove it." He said sighing. "Are they hiding anything? Did you find that much at least?"

Dyten closed his eyes, suddenly overcome by fatigue. The Vampire bite caused them internal issues, like poisoning that slows the muscles and makes them slow enough for the final kill. Rick and Dyten were the only ones who were immune to the bites minus the slight side effects that eventually caught up to them when they were not fighting.

"I took on their leader, hoping that if I wiped her out then gathering information from the blood suckers and sending them into a frenzy would be easier to scope out information. I'm still here, I did well." Dyten smirked faintly, the light sparkle disappearing from his eyes.

"I was inches from death and inches from discovering their secret, they stopped me at every corner. It was hard not having the link to you guys, or having someone to back me up. My head was in overdrive 99.9% of the time, I think that they do have a secret weapon." he looked around the room, not much had changed.

"I made a few new wolves that were suffering before they were turned, they're keeping an eye on things in L.A." he sighed, his shoulders slumping as the venom took it's course.

Rick nodded at Dyten "Yes, you done well." he said sitting on his bed. He stood up again as Dyten said he thought they had a secret weapon. "You're kidding me right? A secret weapon..." He said reapeating Dyten. "Interesting news." He looked at Dyten and noticed his shoulders slumping. "Hey, are you alright Dyten?" He asked. "You should probably sit down."

Dyten shook off the feeling, hiding the tiredness behind his wall and a smile formed on his lips. "Nah, all good mate." he smirked, his face sobering though.

"This secret weapon though, I'd go back into the field but the poison has slowed everything down again..." Dyten said as he pointed to a fairly fresh bite mark on his neck, if the Vampire had a few extra seconds it could've ripped Dyten's head off.

"What did you say to the pack when I left? They had no idea until you told them, I heard that I was kicked out and that I was an ex-saint?" he mused, the side of his mouth twitching in amusement.

Rick raised an eyebrow at Dyten but shrugged it off. "You always was a bit, what's the word, hard headed? By the sign of those bites you could have had your head ripped off." He said rolling his eyes. "Such perseverance you have Dyten" He said nodding to Dyten.

Rick laughed "That's not at all what I told them, Those are just the rumors that had gone about." He said shrugging. "I had told them I gave you permission to go away for a bit." He said thinking what his exact words were but couldn't remember.

Dyten shrugged, he was strong minded a lot and actually did have a hard head... if running into trees was any indication without brain damage. He ran a hand through his hair and looked at his old friend.

"Have you found out who killed my wife and the twins yet?" he asked quietly, expecting the answer to be a no again. His wife was pregnant at the time, with twins and Rick and Dyten had found them completely drained of blood. The twins were ripped from her stomach, laying dry beside their mother. The placenta was completely drained as well.

He looked at the floor, his eyes tearing up for the first time in almost a year.

Rick gulped quietly, the image of Dyten's wife and his unborn twins at the time, laying on the ground drained of blood, the twins was an ungodly sight next to her being ripped from her stomach. Rick shivered putting the image out of his mind and walked over to Dyten. "I'm sorry, we haven't caught the murderer... yet" He said patting Dyten's back gently. "I have still been searching Dyten do not worry."

"I trust you," he whispered, taking the comfort the man was offering.

"I'm going to go tidy up my room and sleep, it's been a while since I've slept a full night... and day, or maybe two... I dunno, until the venom leaves my system... The Queeny really does pack a bite, doesn't she?" he said, smiling faintly and walking towards the door.

"Keep that pup away from me for a bit, till I've settled back into a routine. The Rogue is unpredictable... you know that, I've been that for a year. I'm only looking out for her safety, she won't listen to me but she'll listen to you..." he said, opening the door and walking out.

Rick nodded at Dyten "Of course, sleep for as long as you like my friend." He said walking with Dyten to his bedrooms door. "I bet she does." he said rolling his eyes slightly. He still couldn't get over the fact that Dyten had got bitten by a vampire let alone the head of the vampires, what's her name.

"I'll talk to her Dyten don't worry" He said nodding as he watched Dyten leave. He shut the door behind his old pal and walked over to his bed stripping his shirt off and laying down falling asleep.
